Starter Motor and Alternator Division

Starter Motors & Alternators Division (SMAD) manufactures GRS Starter Motors and Alternators aided with technology from Magneton – Czech Republic. The diverse clientele includes tractors, agriculture machinery, stationary engine and construction equipment OEMs across India and Europe.

SMAD is focused on product and value engineering. The engineering team is consistently optimising product development time by using 'Virtual Product Validation' and weight optimisation to help save material. The facility is equipped with an engineering and design centre as well as a test laboratory to ensure high quality Motors and Alternators reach our 580 plus satisfied service dealers. Starter Motors and Alternators are manufactured at the state-of-the-art manufacturing unit at Bawal-Haryana.
